Half-term and Halloween fun at the National Roman Legion Museum

Thinking about what to do for Half-Term and Halloween this year? Look no further than the National Roman Legion Museum in Caerleon where there will be a whole lot of activities to keep kids busy during the holidays.

It’s Celtic Week at the museum during half term 29 October – 2 November, 11am-4pm! Find out more about the Celts who lived in Caerleon before the Romans in the family workshop. Dress like a Celt and have your face or arm painted. Make some Celtic jewellery to wear, train as a warrior and follow our secret Druid trail. £2 per child

The 31st of October, Halloween night is when ghouls and spirits roam the earth. Many of them have found their way to the National Roman Legion Museum. If you’re looking for a horrifically good evening for the family – look no further! Join in the fun and games from 6-8pm. £3 children, £2 adult. Pre-booked tickets only. Buy at front desk.

Come and join the games, stories and a prize fancy dress competition on the spookiest night of the year! Dare you face the Soothsayer in the scary room? Challenge your nose in the horrid hag’s game?  Watch out for the dead Roman soldier haunting the garden!
