New for 2014/15 National Museum Cardiff are offering exclusive winter wedding packages in one of Wales’ finest and iconic Grade II listed buildings. The Museum’s timeless elegance and stunning collections provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photography you will treasure forever.

Winter Wedding Packages are based on FREE use of the 18th Century Art Gallery for your civil ceremony after 3pm followed by an afternoon tea in the Court Room, or if you prefer, a set 3 course wedding breakfast.

These exclusive packages are available from November-February, requests for use of the Museum in other months are subject to a venue hire fee and separate catering charge. This package is based on a minimum of 30 guests although the Court Room can accommodate up to a maximum of 40 seated guests, subject to an additional cost per head.

Catering is provided in-house exclusively by award winning caterer, Elior. This experienced team provide inspirational menus and impeccable service. All food is prepared on-site using the freshest, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.

Wedding Breakfast Package

  • Based on 30 guests (minimum requirement)
  • A delicious 3 Course Winter Wedding Breakfast and Drinks Package
  • White or buttermilk table linen, glassware and crockery
  • Small licensed bar

Access to the Court Room from 2pm may be available should you wish to hold your ceremony at another venue.

We can also offer a discounted hire of the Grand Hall should you want a larger evening party with additional guests. Should you require additional catering please refer to the Wedding menu pack and book your catering direct with Elior.
