Visiting the Museum Learning: National Waterfront Museum

Planning on bringing a class or group to the Museum? Find out about the sessions, tours and activities we offer by downloading the primary schools brochure. If you would like a printed copy of our programmes for primary schools email Louise Dickerson with your address.

Preview visit

If you are unfamiliar with the Museum, a preparatory visit will provide essential information on how to use the galleries and exhibitions effectively. A member of the learning team will be happy to show you around and answer any questions.

Making a booking

To ensure you get the most from your visit we ask that all groups book their visit. Please call (029) 2057 3600 to check availability and make a booking.

If you need more information or would like to discuss learning opportunities, contact the Formal Education Officer on (029) 2057 3611.

Confirmation and information to enable you to carry out a risk assessment will be emailed after a booking is made. If circumstances change and you can no longer visit or participate in a facilitated activity, please contact us to enable the session to be offered to another group. All sessions are in high demand.

Available facilities

We provide lunch rooms, education rooms and cloakroom facilities. Our shop offers a range of gifts and can also prepare 'pocket money bags' from a specified value of £1 and upwards. Please let us know when you book if you would like us to arrange this for your pupils.

We look forward to welcoming your group.
