The 3 R's
3 Simple ways to reduce the amount of paper YOU use.
Reduce — Paper has two sides- by using both sides of your paper you can immediately halve the amount of paper you use.
Re-use — Note books or jotter pads can be made from old or unwanted photocopied sheets.
Recycle — all paper you're not likely to need again. Get involved in a school recycling project.

- Recycle cans, paper, clothes, plastic, glass and bottles. Find out where this can be done in your area?
- Re-use plastic bags and paper bags. Put all unwanted food on a compost heap in your garden — You can make fresh soil in which to grow vegetables and flowers. It reduces the amount of rubbish being dumped across the country.
