British Alpine Hawkweeds: a monograph of Hieracium section Alpina

The amateur North Yorkshire botanist Mr David Tennant has spent 30 years researching the Alpine Hawkweeds (Hieracium section Alpina) of Britain, and is the authority on this difficult group of plants. In collaboration with Tim Rich, whose role has mainly been editing and producing the manuscript, Mr Tennant’s unique detailed knowledge has been written down and summarised to make it available for all botanists. The monograph was published by the Botanical Society of the British Isles in 2007
