The Welsh Language Board approved the original Welsh Language Scheme of Amgueddfa Cymru (formerly National Museums & Galleries of Wales) in 1997 under the Welsh Language Act of 1993. We have recently reviewed the scheme in light of recent developments, including our commitment to mainstream the Welsh language throughout all our policies and activities.
