Workshops
From time to time teachers will have an opportunity to develop application skills and knowledge by attending workshops at the museum. These will generally involve hands on experience of software and IT equipment for production of computer resources for use in the classroom, or for pre and post school visits. These range from websites to interactive computer based training applications and resources for the Microsoft office suite of applications.
Guided by Museum Media professionals curatorial and education staff you will use the vast resources of the museum collections and computer software to produce a range of curriculum based resources for children to use or for you to re-create with them. Some of these will require a level of pre existing knowledge as outlined in the Digital Imaging course. Some workshops will not require any previous knowledge.
Details of planned workshops can be found in the links on the right. Please note that numbers are limited.
