Q. When presenting with PowerPoint how can I pause between slides and hide the current slide, then bring it back into view?
A. To do this in slide show view, press the letter b on your keyboard. This will produce a black screen. Press the letter b again and the black screen will clear and you will see your slide. (This also works if you press the full stop key)
Clicking a w is the same as the b key, except it will produce a white screen.Q. When I pull down a menu I am given a short menu that does not display all the options. How can I change this so that I can see all menu options?
A To see all of your options when you click on menus, go to Tools>Customize, click on the Options tab, and move the tick to Always show full menus.
Q. How can I see a slideshow preview of the slide I am working on?
A. Hold down the CTRL key while clicking the slide show view button this will open a small preview window showing that slide in slide show view.
Q. How can I quickly change wrong case text in a text box?
A. If you have text that is in the wrong case, select the text or text box if it applies to all text,, and then click Shift+F3 this toggles the text case between ALL CAPS, lower case, and Title Case styles.
Q. How can I select Small or difficult to select slide Objects?
A. First press the Esc key This ensures that nothing is selected. Now each time you press the TAB key, you will toggle through a selection of all of the objects on a slide. This is also useful for selecting objects that are covered up by bigger objects.
