At the National History Museum at St Fagans, we pride ourselves in providing good, quality food which is cooked on site using local, Welsh products whenever possible.

The assisted-service Vale Restaurant, situated on the first floor of the museum, serves hot and cold lunches; a range of sandwiches, baguettes & salads; home-made soup; cakes; and hot and cold drinks.

This area is a family friendly establishment and provides children's sandwich boxes, selected children's portions of main meals and specific meals for kids during weekends and school holidays.

Cafe Bardi is situated in the Main Entrance Hall and serves a variety of home-made cakes, sandwiches, boxed salads and soup and also hot and cold drinks.

Gwalia Tea Rooms is a traditional 1930's tea room serving light lunches and afternoon teas.

Delicious additive-free, farm made Welsh ice cream and sorbets by Mary's Farmhouse are available within the Museum. These can be purchased at the Vale Restaurant, Cafe Bardi and at various locations around the site.

High-chairs are available at the above outlets.

There is also a picnic area just inside the open-air section, and the Museum’s bakery also sells delicious bread and snacks
