Views of the Future 2001

We have completed the second stage of our consultation on the future display of art - 'Views of the Future'. This is our process, begun in 2001, of considering options for the future display of art, particularly of art since 1945 and the art associated with Wales. The report on Stage 1 (by the independent facilitator David Clark of DCA) is available on our website.

Following these discussions, a variety of workshops, debates and discussions with colleagues in organizations in Wales has resulted in the document Views of the Future. This document provides a set of options, on which we are now seeking the views of as many people and organizations interested in the art and culture of Wales as possible.

Following the consultation, we released the document Responses, which outlines continuing work in the area.
