Budget software
You need to do jobs that the free software with the PC can't handle and no money to buy anything. All is not lost — there are freeware packages galore, some better than others. I have listed below some that are worth using with quite powerful features.I'll add more as I come across them.

Some free applications can dump a load of rubbish on your PC so check the license agreement before agreeing! These are offered as links to sites, use them at your own discretion and risk. Satisfy yourself as to security etc before downloading. Always check with your IT support section.
