Still Life with Poron presents a lobster, a lemon and a porrón (a traditional Spanish wine pitcher) on a kitchen table. Cézanne was a key influence on Picasso and this still life, painted after the Second World War, continues this influence. The way the table tilts towards the viewer is a device often used by Cézanne.
