Disabled facilities
Wheelchair access throughout including lifts. Four wheelchairs available on loan as well as portable stick stools. Widespread use of video and sound in exhibitions (commentary and sound effects). BSL accompanied tours are available to booked groups - tel. (029) 20573325. Handling sessions available on request.
Parking
Car Park Closed!
The visitor car park is currently closed due to road closures as part of the Admiral Big Weekend in Cardiff. All roads and the car park will re-open on Tuesday 3 August.
A Visitor Car Park, including dedicated spaces for disabled visitors, is situated behind the Museum, off Museum Avenue. Entry and exit by token - collect your token as you enter the Car Park, and get it validated at the Museum Shop before leaving. Cost £3.50, free to disabled badge holders. On-road disabled parking bays also available at the front of Museum on Gorsedd Gardens Road.
