Thomas Davies (1901-82)
48 Erw Goch, Waunfawr, Aberystwyth.
Born on Treale farm in Pen-boyr parish, Carmarthenshire. Attended Trinity College Carmarthen, and was headmaster of primary schools at Llangeler, Carmarthenshire; Llanfihangel-yng-Ngwynfa, Montgomeryshire; and Llanfihangel Cwm Du, Brecknockshire. He was the author of a memoir, Yn Fore yn Felindre ['Early Days in Felindre'] (Llandysul, 1966).
