Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales welcomes filming requests including feature films, television dramas, documentaries, factual programmes, interviews, photographic shoots and student projects. All 7 of our Museums across the length and breadth of Wales offer a range of unique locations….

TV dramas filmed at our Museums have ranged from 'Dr Who', 'Torchwood', ‘Upstairs Downstairs’ and 'Sherlock' to ‘Pobl y Cwm’ and ‘Gwaith Cartref’. We have also appeared in documentaries such as 'Snowdonia 1850', ‘The Coal House’ and ‘Ancient Britain’ and have recently hosted the much loved Antiques Roadshow.

All profit made from commercial filming helps maintain and run our Museums.
