General Visits (Pre-school to A Level) - Available all year.

Visit the National Roman Legion Museum and see how the soldiers of the mighty Roman army lived 2,000 years ago.

Learning at Caerleon
  • Explore the Museum gallery with its collection of artefacts from Caerleon's Roman past.
  • Experience the life of a Legionary soldier in our reconstructed Barrack Room.
  • Discover more about Roman society in our hands-on role-play sessions.
  • Dip into Cadw's Fortress Baths, Amphitheatre and Barracks.

Whatever your interest, we can customise a visit to suit your needs (maximum of 35 students per group).
