St Fagans: National History Museum is one of Europe's leading open-air museums. Over forty re-erected historic buildings from all over Wales show how people in Wales lived and worked in the past.
The Learning Department at St Fagans has been awarded the Sandford Award for its exceptional education programme. Approximately 90,000 formal learners visit the Museum annually.
Making a booking
Group visits must be booked in advance on 029 2057 3424. Please note that certain buildings cannot be visited without advance booking.
We recommend that special activities are booked as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

To save time during your visit, you can contact the shop in advance on (029) 2057 3412 to arrange for set-price goodie bags to be prepared for your group. You can also contact the restaurant in advance on (029) 2057 3414 to arrange food packs.
All activities are suitable for a maximum of 30 children at a time.
The Learning Department at the Museum believe it is important to invest in providing quality activities for schools. The cost of providing one facilitated session can be more than £150. We therefore ask that if circumstances change and you are no longer able to come to the Museum, please let us know immediately. Cancellations less than a week before the session may incur an administration charge of £50.
