Amgueddfa Cymru — National Museum Wales has an unrivalled collection of images, ranging from Impressionist art to industrial heritage. Encompassing botanical illustrations, archaeological images including Roman and Celtic, natural history, Welsh folk life, industrial and maritime history — our picture library will constantly surprise you.

The international art collection at Amgueddfa Cymru — National Museum Wales is an undiscovered treasure for many picture researchers. It covers works from the Renaissance to the present day. It is particularly strong in the area of British and European fine and applied art and contains works by Millet, Renoir, Monet, Van Gogh and Cézanne.

Commercial Reproduction

Images are available for reproduction in publications, film, television and other media, enquires can be made by letter or e-mail.

A reproduction and handling fee will be charged for the use of any images

We aim to complete an order in 10 working days or we offer a 3-day turnaround at an extra cost of £25.

Print Sales

Images from the collections are also available to the public to purchase as prints
