About the museum

St Fagans is one of Europe's leading open-air museums and Wales's most popular heritage attraction. It stands in the grounds of the magnificent St Fagans Castle, a late 16th-century manor house donated to the people of Wales by the Earl of Plymouth.

Winter Opening 2012

St Fagans Castle is closed until the spring due to essential maintenance works, the rest of the Museum is open as usual. Gwalia Tea Rooms will be closed until the February half-term school holidays but Cafe Bardi and the Vale Restaurant remain open. We apologise for any inconvenience.
