The aims of the Friends include:

  • The stimulation of interest in the museums among all sections of the public.
  • Organisation of excursions to places of interest both in the UK and abroad plus the arrangement of public lectures on subjects of interest.
  • Raising funds for special projects.

Membership of the Friends entitles you to:

  • A copy of the Friends’ Annual report
  • ‘What’s On’ magazine
  • Friends' newsletter three times a year
  • 10% discount in Amgueddfa Cymru shops, restaurants and cafes
  • Concession admission into special exhibitions and events at Amgueddfa Cymru

Admission to all the Museums sites is free of charge. Some special exhibitions and events carry a separate charge.
