DWYNVAL - celebrating St Dwynwen and St Valentine's days

Join us to celebrate St Dwynwen's Day on 25 January.

With two very romantic days coming up soon - St Dwynwen’s Day  (25 January)  and St Valentine’s  Day (14 February ) - pop along to the National Slate Museum and get the perfect gift for your loved one – a handcrafted slate heart.

The slate hearts are unique to the Museum and are made by the demonstrating quarrymen.

The hearts can be given individually as mini cards, gift tags or with a new larger size available can also be used as coasters.

The slate hearts come in two sizes – 3” and 5” - and are available from the Museum shop.

Visitors on this special day will also receive a heart shaped chocolate with every cup of tea or coffee in the cafe.
