Adam Gwilt, Curator of the Iron Age Collections, will present new discoveries and ongoing research by museum staff, relating to the creation, use and burial of decorated metalwork during the Celtic Iron Age in Wales.

Observing Celtic or La Tène Art can provide us with vivid glimpses into the lives of Iron Age peoples in Wales – their beliefs, concerns and identities.

Yet, at the same time, it continues to intrigue and confound us with its elusive, ‘other-worldly’ and ambiguous qualities.
