See this remarkable exhibition of photographs taken during the Miners’ Strike of 1984/85.
NUM member Mike Thompson, who worked in Fernhill Colliery and later both Nantgarw and Cwm Coke Works, travelled around England and Wales taking photographs during the strike.
This exhibition at Big Pit: National Coal Museum gives a personal and powerful view from the NUM side of the picket lines.
Through My Eyes is part of the Museums commemeration of the 25th Anniversary of the miners' strike throughout 2009.
