Urdd.org - An exhibition in Oriel 1

When Ifan ab Owen Edwards established the Urdd in 1922 his aim was to promote and protect the Welsh language.
Today the movement has over 50,000 members. 30% of them are Welsh learners.
Companionship, Competing and Collecting are the themes of this exhibition at St Fagans until 12 July
This year the Urdd Eisteddfod is in Cardiff Bay from 25 to 30 May.
The movement's Message of Peace and Goodwill will be presented and broadcast from Oriel 1 on 18 May 2009 by pupils from Ysgol Plasmawr and Fitzalan High School.
