Then attend the National Roman Legion Museum on 4 May and take your seat in the crowd for our ever popular Roman food-based game show (12.30pm & 2.30pm) “Ready, Steady, Coque”.

 

Recipes on this special edition of the show will teach you some easy to make, delicious dishes from common cupboard ingredients that will also add to your ‘five a day’!

 

Do you also need to brush up on your heirs and graces?  Then get involved in our outdoor dinner party where Roman characters will show you how the crème de la crème host their guests, as well as what they ate (11.30am & 1.30pm).

 

Relax on our triclinium (an outdoor eating area) interact with the characters, sample their food and even be served by their slaves.
