Special Evening Lecture - The Military Orders in Wales

3 Sep 6pm (Nb. Open Tuesday–Sunday and bank holiday Mondays)

A free public lecture on Thursday 3 September coinciding with the new archaeology exhibition Medieval Wales: Some Crusade Stories.

Dr Helen Nicholson (Cardiff University) will speak on ‘The Military Orders in Wales', in the Reardon Smith Theatre, to herald the opening of the exhibition.Her subject will include the Knights Templar and Knights Hospitaller.

This special event also forms the opening lecture of the Fifth International Conference on Military Orders: The Military Orders: Politics and Power, hosted by the Cardiff Centre for the Crusades, Cardiff University.
