Ben Kane, author of the well-received novels The Forgotten Legion and The Silver Eagle, will be appearing at the National Roman Legion Museum on Thursday 21 January.
The Forgotten Legion sold over 10,000 copies in hardback since last year, making it the 8th highest selling debut fiction hardback in the UK in 2008.
The paperback was released in April 2009, and has sold over 15,000 copies.
The second book, The Silver Eagle, was released last June, and was no. 22 in the bestseller charts.
