Rural Skills Day

This event has finished. 20 Feb 2010, 10am-3pm (Nb. Closed Sundays and Mondays October–March)

Join us at the National Wool Museum and see a variety of skilled craftspersons at work, and have a go yourself.

The skills that will be shown include:

plaiting rope

making clogs

making saddles

making bridles

knitting

dyeing and rolling wool

creating rugs

making baskets out of willow

making ceramic pots

 ...and more

Telynnau Teifi, the harp makers will also be present and talks will be held by Martin Fowler from the National Coracle Centre at 11am and 1pm.
