Harvest Food Festival

This event has finished. 2 Oct 2010, 10am-3pm (Nb. Closed Sundays and Mondays October–March)

Come along and try out some of the delicacies on offer from the local producers in west Wales.

There will be a range of food stalls, cookery demonstrations by Gareth Richards and competitions for all the family.

The Food Festival was held here at the Museum for the first time last year and it was an enormous success. The Museum welcomed a record number of visitors to the site in one day.

A marquee is being being erected for the 2010 event in order to display even more exhibitions and stalls. It promises to be another lively, colourful and tasty day this year!

Last year, local chef Gareth Richards, a familiar face to viewers of S4C, entertained the crowds and Gareth is back in 2010 with his cooking displays. This year, he’ll be using some of the local produce on sale at the event to create great winter warmers!

There will also be cooking competitions for local teams as well as for teams of children and young people. In addition, there’ll be a dance workshop run by Theatr Felinfach. Registration for these is crucial so do get in touch beforehand.

The festival is being arranged in partnership with Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr.
