A Night at the Museum
It Friday the 13th and magical things are happening after hours at the Museum!
The Harry Potter themed event will come alive with magical science experiments, a spell trail around the galleries, magician fun as well as a visit from two feathery friends from the Welsh Hawking Centre - a European Owl, the same breed as Harry’s very own Hedwig, and a baby Snowy Owl.
The wizardry night-time event will include creative crafts where visitors can make their very own origami chalice and owl-inspired popcorn box.
They will also get the chance to build KNEX constructions of wizard hats and wands and have a go at controlling Underground Ernie, an interactive model railway.
The evening will end with a screening of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in the atmospheric Warehouse Gallery - an adaptation of the first novel in the Harry Potter series written by J.K. Rowling.
Throughout the film, a special tuck shop will sell witch and wizard inspired cup cakes and magical punch.
