The British Council will host a special panel discussion at National Museum Cardiff to celebrate cultural connections between China and Wales.

The panel will feature speakers from the creative sector in Wales that have participated in the British Council’s Connections through Culture, China-UK programme and other British Council projects.

The conversation will draw on individual experiences and reflect on the value of cultural exchange and impact for Wales on the world stage.

The current exhibition at National Museum Cardiff, From Steep Hillsides: Ancient Rock Carvings from Dazu, China is an example of one of the collaborations supported through this programme.

Speakers include David Anderson – National Museum Wales, Bet Davies - Wales Millennium Centre, Karen MacKinnon - Glynn Vivian Art Gallery and David Wilson – National Dance Company Wales. The panel will be chaired by the British Council.
