Refugee House
An exhibition to co-incide with Refugee Week.
Refugees and Asylum Seekers from Cardiff and Newport have built a house in Oriel 1.
The house and its contents tell the story of their long and sometimes dangerous journeys to Wales, of applying for asylum, and of living here afterwards.
The project is a collaboration between St Fagans: National History Museum, Oasis Cardiff, Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations (Newport’s Young Asylum Seekers Support Service), and is funded by Arts Council Wales.
