Faces of Wales, presents paintings and photographs of people who have contributed to the cultural, political and economic life of Wales over the past 500 years. Famous faces on show include Katheryn of Berain (the Tudor 'Mother of Wales'), iconic poet Dylan Thomas, the American actor, singer and civil rights activist Paul Robeson, and the father of modern architecture, Frank Lloyd Wright. The first AXA Art Photographic Portrait Commission showing two leading Welsh figures, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams and author Sarah Waters is also on display and it will be the first chance to see Rolf Harris's recent portrait of Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins.
