Filming and Photography

We welcome filming requests including feature films, television dramas, documentaries, factual programmes, interviews, photographic shoots and student projects. All seven of our museums across the length and breadth of Wales offer a range of unique locations...

TV dramas filmed at our museums range from Dr Who, Torchwood, Upstairs Downstairs and Sherlock to Pobl y Cwm and Gwaith Cartref. We have also appeared in documentaries such as Snowdonia 1850, The Coal House and Ancient Britain and have recently hosted the much-loved Antiques Roadshow.

All profit made from commercial filming helps maintain and run our museums.
