Travel and Tourism, Welsh Baccalaureate
St Teilo's Church (for WBQ)
A tour of St Teilo's Church aimed at students studying the Welsh Baccalaureate. The talk can be tailored to one of the following core programme modules: Work-Related Education; Wales, Europe and the World; Personal and Social Education.
Available to Advanced, Intermediate and Foundation students - please state which level and core programme module you are studying when booking.
History: Tudors, Welsh Baccalaureate
Tudor religion and daily life.
Use objects and paintings to enhance understanding of historical inquiry. Topics covered include: punishments, sports and Sunday worship.
Craft people such as the blacksmith, miller, weaver and clog maker demonstrate thier work to the public on certain days. If your group has an interest in a particular craft then you should check availability when making a booking.
Sustainable living: Past and Present.
Gather evidence and take photographs to compare how people lived in the past with how you live today. Consider the impacts on the world around us. Discuss ideas to create a more sustainable future.
