A tour of St Teilo's Church aimed at students studying the Welsh Baccalaureate. The talk can be tailored to one of the following core programme modules: Work-Related Education; Wales, Europe and the World; Personal and Social Education.

Available to Advanced, Intermediate and Foundation students - please state which level and core programme module you are studying when booking.

Use objects and paintings to enhance understanding of historical inquiry. Topics covered include: punishments, sports and Sunday worship.

Craft demonstrations

Craft people such as the blacksmith, miller, weaver and clog maker demonstrate thier work to the public on certain days. If your group has an interest in a particular craft then you should check availability when making a booking.

Cost: Led by Museum staff – free of charge.

Gather evidence and take photographs to compare how people lived in the past with how you live today. Consider the impacts on the world around us. Discuss ideas to create a more sustainable future.

  • We are in the process of updating this trail as the Tŷ Gwyrdd is now closed to visitors as part of the of the St Fagans redevelopment project. You can still use the trail but please note that we have removed the pages referring to the Tŷ Gwyrdd. 
  • Please book your visit to ensure that the houses are available on the day of your visit.
