Welcome, and thank you for your interest in volunteering at Amgueddfa Cymru.

Our museums are crammed full of fascinating objects and interesting projects to inspire and enjoy.

As a volunteer, you can make an important contribution. Your involvement can increase the skills and knowledge base at Amgueddfa Cymru and introduce a fresh perspective to our work.

This could range from helping visitors enjoy handling objects in our famous galleries to cataloguing specimens behind the scenes with specialist staff, or even mucking in at the beautiful historic gardens.

These are the national collections, which belong to the people of Wales, so why not join us in managing, conserving and showcasing our heritage?

There are four different ways to get involved:

Volunteering

Soon you will be able to search and apply for roles and opportunities here that suit your skills and interests across all Amgueddfa Cymru sites.

We currently have some 50 volunteers working with us. As a volunteer, you'll learn new skills, share specialist knowledge, further your passion for a particular subject and gain valuable experience while having fun along the way.
