A workshop to learn more about our heritage of beautiful Welsh traditional music.
Fiddlebox (George Whitfield and Helen Adam) will be running the event, which will be a two hour session from 1.30 pm. We will divide the group into beginners and the more experienced.
Anyone wanting an initial taste of playing Welsh music is welcome to come to the beginners' session. This session will be suitable for instrumentalists (bring your instrument!) but also anyone who would like to sing (words available) play percussion or try leaning a tune on the penny whistle. In
The other class would be for people who already play some Welsh music and is called 'Bringing the tune to life' / 'Rhoi bywyd i alaw'.
Learn to sing a melody in an afternoon - suitable for people who do not play an instrument.
