Gregynog Festival Day

An afternoon programme of free events in the magnificent setting of Gallery 16 at National Museum Cardiff which houses the art collection of Gwendoline and Margaret Davies, founders of the Gregynog Festival.

'The generosity of a few friends interested in art': Exhibiting the Davies Collection in 1913

A lecture and Gallery tour to mark the centenary of the first exhibition at which the sisters' paintings were displayed to the public in 1913

3.30pm Menna Elfyn

The leading Welsh poet reads from her new work inspired by Gwendoline and Margaret Davies and commissioned by the Gregynog Festival.

Followed by Gregynog Festival: Escher String Quartet at 6pm.
