The Richard Burton Diaries

Chris Williams has been Professor of History and Head of the School of History, Archaeology and Religion at Cardiff University since August 2013, having joined from Swansea University where he was Professor of Welsh History and Director of the Research Institute for Arts and Humanities. While at Swansea he edited the Richard Burton Diaries (published in hardback and as an e-book by Yale University Press, 2012, and in paperback 2013), which has been a worldwide bestseller.

This talk will be followed by a screening at 2.30pm of the film “Under Milk Wood” (1992).
