Family Biodiversity Day

Join us to celebrate the International Day of Biodiversity.

Meet the experts, handle real natural history objects and take part in fun activities for all the family.

11am & 2pm: Lichen surveys

How clean is the air in Cardiff? Find out with the Opal air survey, looking at lichens on the trees near the museum.

Places limited, book at the Information Desk. Children must be accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of three children with one adult.

 

11.30am & 2.30pm – Behind the scenes tour of Natural Sciences Department

Fossil, marine and mollusc collections.

12pm & 3pm: Bug surveys

How good are the Museum grounds for bugs? Find out with the Opal bug survey.
